Actually, the think will be snail mailed. it's been cleared with Steam.
And thus, I am implementing backup Plan B. You no longer need to have your mailing address to be elligible to win the game. What you need now are the following :
- A valid Steam account
- A broadband connection
What will be done now, is that I will activate the product on the deadline and turn it into gifts which will then be credited to the contest winner's account. Everything else still applies.
Sorry about this, but this is a totally unexpected move by Valve, and I still want this to go on.

Okay I got all the reference sheets done for this competition, I think I'll start this thing without further ado.
Premise
The premise is simple, all you have to do is draw a picture of my persona/s and/or main TERRA characters in a setting that involves the Orange Box games or the winter soltice festivities or both. You can do /34/ stuff of them if you like, just so long as it isn't too fucked up or the like...however, there are a few things to note which will be covered in the reference section.
OCs and self-inserts are fine as long as my characters and/or persona/s are still the main focus of the entry/ies. Also, unless I know you as a good friend or better, if you're going to add OCs/self-inserts, absolutely no /34/ shit because that's just creepy.
Phat Loot
"Why?" You may ask. "Why should I waste my talent on your faggoty characters and persona?" Well here is a very good reason, two reasons actually. I got an extra copy of the Orange Box that I am willing to give away, but cannot decide to whom. So if you're a gamer and love first-person shooter games like HL2 or Team Fortress 2 and can't wait to try your hand at Portal, this is your perfect chance to try your chances at getting it.
However, since I will be placing some restrictions on elligibility, not everyone can enter for the game. So I will be placing a second division for those unable to, and the first three of that division will receive a free request from me. Sounds fair enough and everyone wins in that regard.
The winners will be announced on the 25th of December, and the Orange Box will be mailed out on the same day. It could take anywhere between a few weeks to a couple of months for the package to arrive depending on where you live. So be patient.
Rules
- All contestants who enter will be automatically considered to be of the second division (For the prize of free requests) until they can verify their eligibility for the first division. (For the prize of the Orange Box)
- The deadline for entries to be submitted and first division eligibility to be verified will be on the 23rd and 24th of December respectively.
- Contestants who enter should send their entries either via private notes on DeviantArt, SheezyArt or FurryArtPile or e-mail. (Depreciated)
- Contestants who already submitted their entry, but want to verify their first division elligibility must do so in the same contact method they used to enter.
- Contestants are free to opt out of the first division and into the second division or out of the competition altogether if they so wish to and they are free to re-enter if they changed their minds on the matter.
- Contestants are only allowed one entry in one division for the competition, though they are free to change their entry any time.
- Cheaters found will be disqualified and barred from this competition.
These are what you will need in order to be elligible for the first division and win the Orange Box:
- A valid mailing address.
- A short paragraph saying why/how badly you desire a copy and how easily you could have gotten a copy otherwise.
- A working and verifiable steam account. I will add your user name to my Steam friends list and send you a message to verify that you have it.
- Contestants who already own both of the Orange Box exclusive games (Team Fortress 2 and Portals) are inelligible for the first division. Those found out to have already owned said games while trying to apply for the first division will be shunted back into the second divison. Don't try to win what you already own, dudes.

Jessica Carmilla
She is the main protagonist of Terra. She is born into royalty, but has a fiery, inquisitive and energetic personality that leads her to go on an adventure to see the world for herself. Eventually meets up with Solomon Chavez and dates him. She may be quick on her feet and quite knowledgeable in archaeology, but she can be quite socially dim, brash and clumsy, tending to act first before thinking.
Solomon Chavez
He is an ex-pirate who threw himself into eletronics and the study of the ancient relics of human civillization. Still has ties with his pirate clan. Eventually meets up and dates Jessica. He is a decent marksman and posesses an amazing amount of intellect and critical thinking skills as well as a deep unbreakable devotion to his work, though at times he tends to get too into it and ignore his surroundings, or tend to overthink his actions.
Skye Valken (NWS)
Pseudo-main Protagonist from the ruined future timeline, she was born into a very terrible childhood and was shunned all her life. She then met and fell in love with Ailís Esperança and together, found a resistance group which they eventually end up leading. She is a very passionate person and believes very strongly in equality. Often seen as sad and brooding with the rare occurence of smiling. VERY insecure about her body image and will only ever bare herself to Ailís.
Ailís Esperança
She is a special operative of the resistance force she and Skye leads. Although she suffered the trauma of seeing her parents slain in front of her when young, she tries not to let it get her down. She quickly became well-liked in her group for being an exception moral pillar for everyone around her. She also excels in Math and the planning of their operations. While she is normally cheerful and fleety, the memory of her parents death will forever leave an inferiority complex in her, always thinking that she will never be strong enough to be of worth. She implants upgrades into herself because of this.
Sharon Rastur
She is from the troubled past timeline, where a relic of their past (The Ciellian Empire) had resurfaced in the form of a mad person thirsty for power and revenge and the former glory of his empire and threatened to re-enslave the populace. She is married and had kids, which is why it is a surprise to everyone around her when she decided to join the millitary uprising against this threat and become a knight. Her reasons, though, involve fighting for the protection and a better future for her friends, family and kids. While very fierce and deadly in combat, underneath her armour, she is a real softy ; She has a very benign, considerate and understanding personality, which while it is usually an asset for her comrades in arms as they always come to her for personal advice, it can be a very crippling liability as she misses her family very much and sometimes gets distracted by her desire to be reunited with her family.

So, you know, I have been diving headfirst into drama these days and pissing a lot of people off. If you're not involved and feel uncomfortable with it, then I apologize, there are some issues that I care about deeply and thus there are some things that must be said, no matter how much it pisses off the person I am directing it towards, so this will be a callout journal.
InSaNe-REYNARD , I know for a fact that you hijacked your girlfriend's account Bently, and I know for a fact that you used to go as straitfox until you get banned for the attitude problems that you apparently have not learned from, which I will touch on next. However, that is not the problem, I am no stranger to seeing this kind of stupidity being flung around and it usually are just symptoms to real issues that need to be fixed. First off, you are pompous and egocentric, you can never stand to be told that you could even slightly be wrong or less than perfect, and I cannot abide by that, sorry. This is what I find seriously messed up about you, the lengths of which you take this is quite frankly the most mind-numbingly irrational and disturbing thing I have ever seen in a fellow human being. You constantly go out of your way to harass and pick fights with those who disagree with you, or has an even slightly negative opinion about you, and yet you wonder why you get flack for it. No, you're not a protector, nor are you a guardian of anything, what people say about you, or in approval of ED, or to contradict your beliefs has no bearing to you, your girlfriend or the furry fandom. Quite franky, I find you to be a big embarassment to the furry fandom.
However, I digress. This is not the most offensive thing I find about you, not even that bit where you advocated bestiality comes close. What I find most repulsive about you is your complete and utter disrespect to the word of anyone but your own, heck you don't even listen to a word your girlfriend says to you and yet speaking of her as if she is agreeing with and hanging on to every word you say, and that is what I find most offensive. YOU ARE ABUSING YOUR OWN GIRLFRIEND for crying out loud, and for what? Pride issue, just to prove your point against your detractors that shouldn't matter to you? Are you that insecure about yourself that you not only have to desperately tell yourself that you're always right, that your detractors are all wrong and that you have a million friends eager to back you up, you also are unable to trust your significant other enough to not hijack into her private stuff and play sockpuppet with her account?
Please, for your own good, learn to stop setting yourself up for your own suffering and stop bothering with your detractors. They will not change their minds, no matter what you say to them. Grow some balls and some confidence so you would stop running around desperately trying to prove your superiority over the internet. No good can ever come from what you are doing, and unless you can effect a change in attitude in yourself, you will never get ahead.
Remember, there is more to attitude than just the useage of words, believe me when I say that I am trying to help you when telling you to stop being a whining pussy.
Shanella , your overly pretentious, egoistic and snobbish attitude rubs me the wrong way and when I was shown that scrap picture of you nitpicking at the simillarities between ubasty 's and xxshrinerxx 's work I get displeased. I cannot just let it slide and go about my business, because what you are doing isn't right. You are not outing a supposed art thief like you claim to, you are targetting a fellow artist for being unlucky enough to have a drawing style simillar to your friend's. Even if ubasty did admit to referencing to your friend's work, I fail to see why you have a big problem with it. Trying to inflict the stigma of being labelled an art thief on someone is a terrible thing to do, it is something that you should never EVER do to someone, unless you are 110% sure that said person deserves it. Trying to do that to ubasty for "simillarities", "referencing" or "inspiration" is extremely petty and beyond cuntish.
The way you reacted when confronted isn't any better either. You tell me to stop being nosy, but at the same time get your friends involved in your problems, and that is saying nothing of the comments I found you saying behind my back. You should have at least have the honesty and integrity to tell me what you really feel to my face. You could rip on me all day long and I wouldn't mind, at least then, we MIGHT have a chance to come to a mutual understanding.
I know I am digging in here, and I apologise for that, but I noticed that you seem to have a long-standing problem with criticism, both when directed towards yourself and your friends. I have been shown instances of you yelling at a certain Samantha for giving critique on Shriner's work on the TA Oekaki and you have been known to hide unfavourable comments from your page consistently. That, coupled with the previous paragraph, is what led me to this conclusion.
Look, I know it's hard for you to do, but sometimes it pays to swallow your pride and listen to what others has to say, even though it stings a lot. Nobody is perfect and everyone has room to improve. Please, don't shut yourself in your hugbox of compliments, yes-men and nice words, you will only damage yourself if you do so.
Now with that off my chest, I have something glorious to announce. I have an extra copy of The Orange Box PC sitting in my desk, and I am feeling generous enough to mail it away on Christmas Day to one lucky gamer.
